• Consultancy for starting or running a coffee shop

What kind of course is a consultancy course for coffee shops?

Well, this is a fantastic course for people who are looking to open or are already running a coffee shop.

The course helps you with a lot of things and can really clear things up, give answers to a lot of questions and can inspire you big time.

What will you teach me during the consultancy training?

We will talk about quite a few subjects. Mainly we will talk about things such as set up cost, bar design, equipment choice, daily takings, finding the right location, labour cost, profit margins etc.

The idea is that you can ask us anything and we will do our best to find you the answer.

How many people per course?

Just one or two people per course usually although it can depend. Please ask during the booking of the course.

How much does it cost?

This is the best thing. Most courses cost an absolute fortune but we understand that setting up a coffee shop is expensive enough already. We only charge £85 per person and you can drink as much coffee as you can handle during the course.

Can I get some more information about the course?

Please get in touch with us and we will get our trainer to answer your questions. Thank you.

Where is the course held?

The consultancy course is held in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The course is held at the same place where we have our barista training. This is really a great environment to learn and we are in a real coffee shop.

Can you do the training at my place?

It is possible but we really do prefer to hold the course in Halifax. Training on-site will most likely cost you more as well.

Single Espresso La Spaziale S5

Barista training"My partner and I had a wonderful Valentine's Barista training session at Absolute Coffee last Sunday in Halifax. Our trainer, Youri, was very friendly and taught us all about the coffee making process with infectious enthusiasm and good humour. After a very interesting talk-through on the lifecycle of coffee from the bean to the cup we got stuck in and started making our first espressos.

Due to Youri's very clear instruction and explanation on what makes a great espresso, we were pulling great shots in no time at all, with all our handiwork captured on Youri's camera!
Once Youri was happy that we had a good grasp of pulling consistent shots, we moved on to milk based drinks and were both delighted with the results we were getting. The day finished with us giving a good deal of time trying to perfect our Latté Art hearts...very appropriate for the day that was in it! We would thoroughly recommend the Barista training course to anyone who has an interest in learning how to make wonderful coffee.

Thank you again,
Cian & Niamh"
